Accessibility Statement

Our goal
Joy Spa wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or screen zoom. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What the site does today
- Every page sets its language, has one main heading, and works with screen zoom.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative images are skipped by screen readers.
- The contact form has a label on every field and explains any error in words, next to the field.
- The menu, the mobile menu and the testimonial slider work with a keyboard, and the slider pauses while you hover over it or move focus into it.
- The home page background video is silent and decorative.
Known gaps
- Some orange buttons and some light blue text do not yet reach the recommended color contrast.
- The small dots under the testimonial slider are hard to tap on a phone. The arrows next to the slider do the same job.
- On some pages the headings skip a level.
- The maps are provided by Google and may not fully meet the guidelines. The address is always written out next to the map.
